Pyaar Deewana Hota Hain

Pyaar Deewana Hota Hain

Pyaar Deewana hota hain, mastaana hota hain

Har khushi se har gham se begaana hota hain

(Love is like a madman (deewana), absolutely carefree (mastaana). Love is unaware of any happiness or sorrow. )

Shama kahe parwane se pare chala jaa

Meri tarah jal jaayega yahan nahin aa

Woh nahin sunta usko jal jaana hota hain

Har khushi se har gham se begaana hota hain

(The flame warns the moth, "go away, you will burn like me, dont come here". But the moth doesn't listen because it is in his fate to burn to death. It is unconcerned about any happiness or grief. )

Rahe koi sau pardo mein dare sharam se

Nazar aji laakh churaye koi sanam se

Aa hi jaata hain jispe dil aana hota hain

Har khushi se har gham se begaana hota hain

(One may hide behind hundreds of veils, feeling shy / scared of the beloved, one can avoid meeting the gaze of the lover. The heart falls in love with the one it is fated to love.......)

Suno kisi shaayar ne yeh kaha bahut khub

Mana kare duniya lekin mere mehboob

Woh chhalak jaata hai jo paimana hota hain

Har khushi se har gham se begaana hota hain

(Listen some poet has expressed it beautifully, the world may warn you my beloved but  a glass of wine has to overflow.....Love is like that paimana (glass of wine) that has to overflow from your heart)
